Booking terms & conditions

Please make sure you are familiar with the terms below. By booking a stay, a surf lesson or a surf retreat at LUANA Lombok, you agree to the following.

Contractual agreement

Your contract is with Meraki Estate Lombok (“LUANA Lombok”), a registered entity in Indonesia.

Reservation and agreement

When making a reservation at LUANA Lombok through our website, WhatsApp or email, you acknowledge that these Booking Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, Website Terms & Conditions of Use and any other relevant information provided before confirmation, shall govern your reservation. By making a reservation or using the services of LUANA Lombok, you are legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, effective from the time of booking.

Payment

To confirm your booking, a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total service cost must be paid. The reservation is considered valid upon receipt of the required amount in our designated bank account. Payments are processed through Xendit, by bank transfer or WISE.

Confirmation and contract

Your reservation is confirmed, and a binding contract is established between you and Meraki Estate Lombok, upon receipt of a confirmation message detailing your reservation. Should any details appear incorrect or require modification, please notify us immediately. LUANA Lombok reserves the right to refuse reservations at our discretion.

Cancellation and refunds

• Cancellation two weeks or more prior to arrival: 50% refund of the paid deposit (25% of the total stay).
• Cancellation less than two weeks prior to arrival: no refund of the deposit provided.
• Refunds are paid minus bank charges, if applicable.
• No refunds after check-in.
• No refund if guests choose to depart before the package ends.

No show

If a guest fails to arrive without prior notice, LUANA Lombok reserves the right to cancel the reservation 48 hours after the scheduled check-in time.

Conditions

• Minimum age requirement for our surf retreat: 18 years old.
• Booking variations are subject to availability and may incur surcharges.
• Surfing schedules may be adjusted on national holidays.

Risk acknowledgment

• Customers must be physically fit and capable of swimming.
• Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions.
• LUANA Lombok is not liable for accidents, injuries or death during surfing activities.
• Participants are required to have adequate medical insurance covering health-related issues during travel.

Loss, damages & injuries

• Guests are responsible for personal belongings and any damage caused.
• LUANA Lombok is not responsible for lost or damaged personal goods.
• Vehicle rentals arranged by LUANA Lombok are not covered by our liability, as we only organise the rental for you. Guests are advised to obtain proper travel insurance.
• Guests will be charged the full cost for repairing any damage to the property or equipment caused by themselves or their visitors.

Surfing conditions and liability

LUANA Lombok cannot be held liable for unfavourable surfing conditions. We aim to select suitable surf spots aligned with guests’ skill levels and daily conditions, however unforeseen circumstances may arise beyond our control. LUANA Lombok holds no liability and will not issue refunds for incidents occurring outside of course hours or due to factors beyond our control.
