Do Grab and Gojek work in Selong Belanak?
Ride-hailing coverage is limited in this part of South Lombok and pick-ups from Luana are not always reliable. Our team can arrange a local driver whenever you need one.
Is there a reception at night?
Our front-office team is available from 7:30 AM until 9 PM. Overnight, security is on site for safety and urgent support, so late arrivals can still reach their room when arranged in advance.

Booking direct on this website is at least 10% lower than booking Luana through the major online travel agencies, you can reserve now and pay at the property, and your message reaches our team in Selong Belanak directly.

Surf & the beach
Is Selong Belanak good for beginner surfers?
Selong Belanak is one of the friendlier beginner beaches in Lombok: a wide sandy bay with no reef underfoot, which is why many people catch their first wave here. Conditions still change from day to day, so it is worth asking before you paddle out.
Can Luana arrange a surf lesson?
Yes. We work with experienced local instructors in Selong Belanak and can help arrange a session that suits your level and the day's conditions. Tell our team or message us on WhatsApp, ideally the day before.
Do I need to bring my own board?
No. A board is arranged with your lesson, and boards can also be rented at the beach for the day.
I have never surfed before. Is that a problem?
Not at all. The first session is about getting comfortable with the board, the water and the basics — everything after that comes at your own pace. Most guests who book a first lesson have never stood on a board.
