A boutique stay made for island days
At Luana, the day can be as easy as you want it to be. Start with included breakfast at Luana Bowls, spend some time by the pool, head out to explore South Lombok or simply see where the day takes you. What matters most to us is that you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive, looked after by a warm local team, but with all the space you need to enjoy Luana in your own way.
We kept it deliberately small: ten rooms and bungalows, one four-bed dorm, two pools and a garden in between. Luana Bowls, our restaurant at the front of the property, is open to guests and visitors alike. Most of the menu is plant-based, and you do not need to be vegan to enjoy it.

Luana Bowls
From morning coffee to dinner
Luana Bowls is our mainly vegan café and restaurant in Selong Belanak, open every day from 8 AM to 10 PM and open to everyone, not only hotel guests. Smoothie bowls and sourdough in the morning, poke bowls, curries and burgers later, espresso and matcha all day.
We cook with tempeh, jackfruit, sweet potato and other local, organic veggies and fruits. Most dishes are plant-based by default, with selected vegetarian additions — add egg to some plates, or dairy milk to your coffee. Plenty is gluten-free, and the team is happy to adapt for allergies.

Two pools, two moods
The original pool sits beside the restaurant, where the day tends to gather. The second pool, in the newer bungalow area, is the quieter place to float and read.

Breakfast is included with every stay and served at Luana Bowls, the same kitchen that cooks the rest of the day. Coffee, matcha, fruit and something warm, with no reason to hurry through it.
Shared spaces to land in
The lounge is where the middle of the day goes: shade, cushions, a book someone left behind, and your room about twenty steps away.

How Luana began
Made in Lombok, shaped together
The idea for Luana existed long before there were rooms, pools or a restaurant.
Hannah first travelled and surfed through Indonesia around 11 years ago and kept coming back to Lombok for its nature, its waves and the people who made the island feel different from anywhere else she had been. Somewhere along the way the dream took shape: her own place in Selong Belanak, where people would be genuinely looked after and feel at home from the first morning.

Check-in is from 2 PM until 9 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM. If you arrive earlier or leave later you are welcome to store your luggage with us. Arriving after 9 PM is possible when you tell us in advance.
